PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF BUDGET EDUCATIO
Al-Farabi KazNU hosted an online ceremony of signing a memorandum of cooperation between Al-Farabi KazNU and the Swiss School of Applied Sciences (Swiss-Sasem) of Economics and Management, which determined the prospects for the development of double-diploma education.
The strategic document was signed by the chairman of the board-rector of KazNU named after al-Farabi Zh.K. Tuimebayev, the rector of the Swiss School of Applied Sciences, Economics and Management (Swiss-Sasem) Dominique Jordan and the president of the Swiss business school Swiss-Sasem Meirj Eskendirtegi.
Welcoming the guests, the rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev thanked them for their desire to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and noted that Switzerland is one of the main strategic partners of Kazakhstan, which is actively developing projects in many areas, including science and education. “The partnership between Al-Farabi KazNU and the Swiss School of Applied Sciences, Economics and Management is reaching a new level. We highly appreciate your experience in training specialists. I am sure that the implementation of joint programs and the involvement of highly qualified teachers and experts in the learning process will give a new impetus to the development of the university and double-diploma education, ”Zh. Tuimebayev said.
During the meeting, an emphasis was made on the development of human capital and the training of managers of a new formation.
In turn, the rector of the Swiss School of Applied Sciences, Economics and Management, Dominique Jordan, thanking the leadership and staff of Al-Farabi KazNU for the warm welcome, spoke about the mission of Swiss-SASEM and shared plans. “It is a great honor and privilege for us to launch a double degree MBA and DBA program in Kazakhstan together with the prestigious Al-Farabi KazNU, one of the leading universities in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and the world, headed by the respected rector, Professor Zhanseit Tuimebayev. Our mission is to empower people to become truly successful, making the most of all possible resources and challenges of the 21st century. I believe that education is the only positive way to influence society, ”said Dominic Jordan.
During the negotiations, the parties stressed that the signed memorandum opens up wide opportunities for professional growth and development of practitioners and managers working in various fields and industries.
It should be noted that the Al-Farabi Business School, opened on the basis of the Higher School of Economics and Business of KazNU, carries out MBA and DBA educational programs and is the main university provider of services in this direction. All programs of the school are aimed at training and advanced training of management personnel. In two years, the business school has concluded memorandums of understanding with many foreign universities and has graduated 36 MBA and 33 MBA in healthcare.
