Courses of advanced training for specialists of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhsta

Meteorological support of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan plays an important role in increasing the safety, regularity and efficiency of flights. Safety of flights in meteorological relations is achieved by correct assessment of meteorological conditions, and timely delivery of necessary meteorological information to consumers. To achieve this goal, meteorological specialists must be well prepared. And in this they are helped by advanced training courses. These courses allow meteorologists to always be on the course of changes, to refresh forgotten knowledge and to acquire new ones.

         From November 1, 2021 lecturers of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology of al-Farabi Kazakh National University. organized advanced training courses for junior meteorological specialists of the Air Force of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The purpose of these courses is retrain metespecialists with the acquisition of additional profile specialization. Advanced qualification courses give the opportunity not only to learn about new requirements and technologies, but, above all, to meet with like-minded dedicated people. Thanks to the lecturers of the department, the meteospecialists have the opportunity to advance their professional level and knowledge. Courses are conducted on the basis of the classroom for distance learning and educational meteorological station of KazNU. The duration of the course is three weeks, at the end of the course all participants will receive a certificate confirming the completion of the course.
