On May 13, the final of the 7th International Olympiad on the History of Economic Studies was held in Moscow, 4th year students of the specialty "Economics" of the Higher School of Economics, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the Olympiad.  The head of the group is the head of the department "Economics" Daulieva G.R.  The organizer of the Olympiad - the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.  Teams from 12 universities took part in the final of the International Subject Olympiad.  Including students of Russian universities, such as Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov, Higher School of Economics, Financial University and Moscow Agricultural Institute, as well as students from Belarus, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Kazakhstan.  The jury included such famous professors and economists as Nureyev R.M., Yadgarov Ya.S.  and others. The team of students of KazNU named after Al-Farabi was awarded with diploma and a cup of finalists of the International Olympiad.
