Meeting with the First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy

    The First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Kazakhstan, Head of the Department of Culture and Information, Mr. Yuya Kinoshita, specially visited and held a meeting with teachers of the department, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the Department of the Far East of the Japanese Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. During the meeting, Mr. Kinoshita introduced several programs related to the education system in Japan, special programs for visiting Japan, including MEXT scholarships, and answered various questions from the meeting participants.

    Students asked questions about Japan, about studying at Japanese universities, about continuing their studies after completing their undergraduate studies, and about working in Japanese companies after graduation. All questions were answered informatively.

    After the meeting, Mr. Kinoshita visited the academic building, lecture halls belonging to the Department of Japanese Studies, talked with the teachers of the Department, got acquainted with the current atmosphere of the Department of Japanese Studies.
