Meruert Sakenovna Kurmanbaeva graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, in 1999 she defended her Candidate's thesis, in 2010 - Doctoral thesis. She passed her professional path from a teacher of the Department of Botany to the Head of the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Raushan Binomovna Isayeva graduated from the Leningrad Pediatric Medical Institute of St. Petersburg in 1990. She started her professional career as an assistant of the chair of pediatrics for interns of S.Asfendiyarov KazMU named after S.Asfendiyarov. In 1996 she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences, in 2003 she received the title of Associate Professor. In 2007 she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences.
In different years she held responsible positions: Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations of S. Asfendiyarov KazNMU, Deputy Department of Science and Human Resources of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Rector - Chairman of the Board of JSC "Kazakh Medical University of Continuing Education", Director of the Higher School of Medicine and Public Health of Al-Farabi KazNU and others. Honored with honorary titles: "Excellent Health Care Worker of the RK", "Excellent Educator of the RK".
Since the beginning of the new academic year new deans have started their duties. We congratulate and wish them success in their work!
