Connection between education, scince and production in higher education institutions

In the current academic year the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University was visited by the Representative of the company "Lukoil Lubricants Central Asia" Sergey Sergeevich Barbashov. During his visit, Barbashov S. S. met with the head of the department Doctor of сhemical sciences, professor E.A. Aubakirov and proposed the implementation of favourable and promising sponsorship and material support of gifted students, masters and doctoral students of the Department. In particular, it was about financing of various scientific internships, business trips, student international Olympiads on petrochemistry and oil and gas business among talented and promising students of universities of RK and UIS, Case-In. Barbashov S. S. Barbashov also offered to participate in the "Perspective" Project. It should be noted that "Lukoil Lubricants Central Asia" plans to conduct advanced training courses for employees of its company with the participation of leading lecturers of the department - specialists in the field of petrochemicals and oil refining. S.S. Barbashov and the head of the department, Dr.ch.sc., prof. E.Aubakirov E.A. also discussed the issue of the implementation of diploma works by bachelor students of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry with the direct participation of employees of "Lukoil Lubricants Central Asia".
