SDG-5: Beauty contest "Miss Almaty-2023"

In February 2023, a qualifying round was held for the annual beauty contest “Miss Almaty-2023”, organized by the State Foundation for the Development of Youth Policy of the city of Almaty. Narymbi Aisha, a 2nd year student of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Journalism, Department of Journalism and Communications of UNESCO, majoring in International Journalism, took part in the qualifying round. The number of participants in the competition was 500 girls, of which Narymbi Aisha reached the final as one of 9 girls.

The competition, which started in February, ended in September. Narymbi Aisha from the top four received the title “VICE MISS ALMATY-2023” and received a ticket to the Miss Kazakhstan competition.

Additionally, she was nominated for “Lady Congeniality”.
