The dance ensemble "Farab" of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the famous singer Malika YES took part in the XII Chinese International Festival of Arts

The competition, which took place from October 11 to 20 in Quanzhou, Xiamen, Anxi, Beijing, was attended by 15 countries from Japan, Africa, India, Korea, Sri Lanka, Poland, the Netherlands. Only the famous dance ensemble "Farab" of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was invited from the countries of Central Asia. The purpose of this festival is to present to the Chinese audience the national costumes and dances of the Kazakh people and further develop cooperation in the field of art by signing bilateral agreements. Dancers and young singer Malika YES performed at the highest level with a diverse repertoire, under the guidance of a cultural figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, choreographer, director, golden laureate of the "International Prize of Eurasia" in the nomination "Harmony of the dance line", head of the student dance ensemble “Farab” Esmukhanbetova Gali.

Within the framework of the festival, contestants from different countries took part not only in the nominations of folk and modern dances, but also with musical bands and ensembles.
