Scientific seminar_ The Role of Management Accounting System in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On October 30, 2023, within the Department of "Finance and Accounting," as part of the course "Management Accounting System Development" (instructor: Yerdavletova F. K., Candidate of Economic Sciences, MBA, Associate Professor), a research seminar was held for doctoral students enrolled in the educational program 8D04108 - Accounting and Audit. The seminar was dedicated to the topic of "The Role of Management Accounting System in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the context of the UN 2015 Agenda for Sustainable Development."

During the seminar, various information and analytical indicators of management accounting were discussed, aiming to promote economic growth and meet the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability for future economic growth and meeting the needs of future generations. This concept is based on the idea of balanced responsible consumption and production (SDG 12). The outcome of the research seminar resulted in scientific and practical conclusions about the possibilities and prospects of the contribution of the management accounting system to achieving sustainable development goals.
