SDG 12 "Ensuring the transition to rational consumption and production models"

On November 8, 2023 at 11:00 in the auditorium 329, сandidate of law, associate professor of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law Kalymbek Bakytzhan held an open lecture "Ensuring the transition to rational models of consumption and production". Speakers that took part in the lecture: head of the Production and Technical service for Energy Temirbekov Zh. S., head of the substation service Mataybayev D. D. During the lecture, the lecturer explained to the university students that consumption and production around the world are the driving force of the global economy, paying special attention to the negative impact of these processes on the natural environment and resources of our planet and the peculiarities of state regulation. The teacher revealed the specifics of the topic using practical examples. The lecture also aroused genuine interest of the students and in its final part in the form of questions and answers, a heated discussion was discussed among the students. In the future, the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law plans to invite experienced specialists in the field of land and environmental law to conduct open lectures.
