The semi-final of the traditional competition “Ana tili aruy, Zhigit sultan” was held

Today at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University the semi-final of the traditional competition “Ana tili aruy, Zhigit sultan” was held. The competition is annually organized by the “organization of the student Senate”. At the start, about 300 beauties and sultans from the university took part in this competition, of which 10 were our beauties and 10 Sultans reached the semi-finals. The purpose of the competition is to develop the values of national education among young people, expand the use of the state language, harmonious development of youth as individuals, develop the creative and high intellectual potential of modern girls and boys, and promote beauty.
The couples participating in the competition were given instructions to popularize the meaning and value of traditions: bastangy, betashar, kuda tusu, sirga salu, kyz uzatu, kudalyk, kyrkynan shygaru, tusaukeser, besik toy, tilashar. The participants were able to demonstrate traditions at a high level, which revived traditions and became part of our national values.
Today's competition was special, as each participant came with great preparation. Friends and fans of the participants provided special support. Let's cherish our national values!
