Commemoration of Great Ataturk

10.11.2023 year, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey, the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Almaty organized a memorial evening dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the death of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, founder of the Republic of Turkey and the first President of the Republic of Turkey.

The official evening was attended by guests from Turkey, representatives of the Kazakh intelligentsia and student youth.

At the memorial evening, memories of the Great Ataturk were told, a special exhibition was organized, and then a cultural event followed. Muratova Albina, a 3rd year student of the Department of Turksoy, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, took part in this event and presented her art. She expressively read the poem of the famous Turkish poet Umid Yashar Oguzjan "Remembering Mustafa Kemal" and received applause from the guests.

The Consulate General thanked Albina Muratova for participating in this event.
