«Revitalizing global partnership for sustainable development»

On November 17, 2023, at 19.00 p.m., the lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology of al-Farabi Kazzakh National University,  A.A. Muldagaliyeva,  D.M. Makhmetova,  I.G. Orazbekova,  E.I. Lugovskaiya,  Z.S. Nesspibayeva,   Sh. S. Duisenbayeva  and K.A.  Zhirenshina  together with O.A. Ismailova,  the lecturer of Abai Kazakh National  Pedagogical University  and the lecturers of Dulaty  University organized the International Students’  Online Conference  on the topic: «Revitalizing global partnership for sustainable development» within the frameworks of “Partnership for sustainable development” SDG 17 on ZOOM platform.  The students and master’s degree students from al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Abai Kazakh National University, Dulty Taraz State University, Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) and Czech University of Life Sciences (Czech Republic) took part in the conference.

During the conference the participants discussed such important issues as an access to clean water,  quality education, the role of academic mobility in an  educational process, preservation and rational use of seas, oceans and marine resources. The student Assel Nurmakhambetova  (Uzbekistan) told about the measures taken by the government of her country to provide all citizens of Uzbekistan with clean water and the new methods of cleaning water  developed by  Uzbek  scientists. The student of Abai Kazakh National University, Aikerim  Aubakirova made a report about the role of academic mobility program in a studying  process and shared her experience of studying in Poland within the frameworks of academic mobility program. The student of Technical University of Ostrava,  Akerke Salyrpayeva prepared the video message on the topic: “ The ways of solving clean-water -access problems in Czech Republic” in English. The most interesting and informative  report was made by the 1st year master’s degree students of the Higher School of Economy and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Aichurek Kachkynchiyeva. She made a speech about the development tourism  in Kazakhstan. Aichurek showed  in her presentation the most  popular and beautiful tourist attractions in our country and introduced the participants into the perspectives of developing tourism business in Kazakhstan. She   ended her speech with a quiz on the sight of Kazakhstan.

The conference was ended the discussion. Each of the participants shared the opinion about the issues touched upon at the conference.
