On November 16, 2023, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, an open class was conducted on the subject of "Theory of State and Law" related to the 13th principle SDG of "Combatting Climate Change," organized by the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law. The class focused on the theory and history of state and law for first-year students. The moderator was Dinara Akhanovna Tursynkulova, a candidate of legal sciences, and the speakers were first-year students Almas Kerimbek, Arailym Shyngys, and Aidana Sultanova.
During the open class, students analyzed global climate change, examining its causes, consequences, preventive measures, and preparing a presentation. They also analyzed statistics from 2015-2019 and drew conclusions on the issue, emphasizing not only global climate changes but also the climatic conditions in their country and their variations. They explored the reasons for its occurrence and preventive measures.
Currently, this highly relevant issue is becoming a major focus of sustainable development. In response to the problem of climate change, the UN has adopted a convention, and several developed countries are taking constructive measures to mitigate its consequences.
