Modern technologies for solving sustainable development goals in the field of agriculture and ecology
20.11.-24.11.2023 under the guidance of Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, PhD Yrgynbaeva Sh. M. undergraduates of the 2nd year of the educational program “7M05105-Genetics” held a scientific seminar on the topic "Introduction of modern technologies to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the field of agriculture and ecology". The scientific seminar covers the following sections of the SDGs: SDG 2: Hunger eradication, SDG 6: Clean water and sanitation, SDG 15: Conservation of terrestrial ecosystems. The purpose of the event was to introduce methods and technologies aimed at improving productivity, product quality and economic efficiency in agriculture and environmental protection.
The scientific seminar was also attended by teachers of the department Altybayeva N.A. and Lovinskaya A.V. During the seminar, the causes of poverty in the country and abroad; development of poverty reduction strategies in the country; analysis of the impact of poverty on economic growth and social tension; reduction of the shortage of clean water; preservation of terrestrial ecosystems; ways to reduce environmental genotoxic effects were considered.
