A white coat ceremony was held at the Faculty of Medicine

The WHITE COAT CEREMONY - "White Coat Ceremony" was held at the Faculty of Medicine of Al-Farabi KazNU. In a solemn atmosphere, the first-year students were initiated into the students of the medical faculty, symbolically handing over white coats.

The ceremony began with the presentation of the Graduate School of Medicine. The students were congratulated on the significant event by Lyazzat Erkinbaeva, Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Sabit Suatai, Vice-Rector for Social Development, and Raushan Isayeva, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.

The event included the presentation of letters of appreciation to the staff of the Graduate School of Medicine, as well as personal scholarships to the best students of the Faculty of Medicine and Public Health.

Today at the faculty all conditions for quality education have been created. International standards and new scientific achievements are taken as a basis at the faculty. Experienced teachers train medical personnel at all levels of educational programs - bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies.      In the structure of the Faculty there are two schools: the Higher School of Public Health and the Higher School of Medicine, as well as the scientific and practical center "Innovative Health Care".

Today the Faculty has students from Turkey, Afghanistan, Yemen, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, India, USA, China, Russia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

As part of the leading university of Kazakhstan, the faculty has its own clinical bases: Clinical and Diagnostic Center, City Hospital No. 1 of Almaty. Almaty.

The total number of students is more than 2000, including more than 1000 foreign students from 22 countries.  Graduates of the faculty successfully work in large private and state medical organizations.
