Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi KazNU was visited by Zhuldyz Suleimenova, deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Johannes D. Rai, director of the representative office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Kazakhstan.
During the visit, the guests met with the Dean of the Faculty Bekzhan Meirbayev and the Head of the Department of Political Science and Political Technology Gulnara Nasimova.
During the negotiations the parties discussed the possibilities and prospects of cooperation on joint projects in the sphere of political education, interaction between science and politics. Much attention was paid to the creation of dialog platforms to discuss topical issues: support for youth, improving political culture, increasing the level of women's participation in politics, communication between the state and civil society. Also were considered the possibilities of joint research in the framework of cooperation between scientists of Kazakhstan and Germany, deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Bundestag.
