Methodological seminar «Gender equality and Kazakh female scientists»

On December 13, 2023, a methodological seminar «Gender equality and Kazakh women scientists» organized by the Faculty of History was held at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi.

      During the event, a professor of the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Doctor of Historical Sciences G.S. Zhugenbayeva made a presentation. The speaker noted the relevance of the problem of gender equality in Kazakhstan, told about Kazakh women scientists, including the life path, contribution to the historical science of Kazakhstan of corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences M.K. Abuseitova.

      During the seminar, a discussion took place between teachers, PhD students, undergraduates and students, where participants shared their opinions.
