We would not be mistaken if we say that climate change is one of the most discussed topics these days. Obviously, climate change will not leave many people indifferent. Due to climate change in a different form, floods, sea level rise, and melting of glaciers, lead to air pollution and great dangers. They also can cause health risks. On December 5, 2023, at 20:00 in Dormitory No. 17 of the Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation, A. Zhaparova exchanged views and reflections with students of the Philological Faculty on the topic: "Fighting climate change and stop climate change” which was connected with combating climate change" . During the meeting, the students were acquainted with interesting facts related to the topic. Together with the teacher, they expressed their thoughts about the above given topic and a learnt lot of valuable information. The teachers used the methods of question and answer, discussion for the lesson. The students were shown an interesting presentation on the lesson topic.
