Al-Farabi KazNU students take part in debates in Turkey

Students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Marat Aruna and Tagybai Aisaule, accompanied by Ph.D., acting associate professor of the Department of Middle East and South Asia Mammedova Fatima Zilpikarovna, take part in international debates on the model of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which are taking place in Istanbul (Turkey).

The organizer of this project is Beyoglu High School in Istanbul in partnership with the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey.

By participating in this project, our students gain valuable experience, get acquainted with an international, comprehensive model of high-quality youth leadership, balanced education and proper training.

For the participants, this is a unique opportunity to gain skills in defending their opinions, argumentative position defense, develop oratorical skills, and master the basic theoretical and practical aspects of diplomacy and the OIC system in Arabic. They will be able to apply this valuable knowledge and skills later by participating in international projects, diplomatic relations in real time, as well as in discussing important topics on the OIC agenda. The debate will last until January 7.
