Collaborations with the University of Germany in the framework of a scientific project

In the period from 06.12.2023 to 12.13.2023, the research group of the Department of “Finance and Accounting” of the Higher School of Economics and Business of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University: Nurmagambetova Azhar Zeynullayevna - project manager, STS; Nurgalieva Aliya Miyazdenovna – VNS of the project; Kurbanova Karlygash Abdullayevna – NS of the project, were on a business trip in Berlin, Germany.
The purpose of the business trip was to participate in the International Scientific Conference on Finance, Banking and Economics (ICFBE) in Berlin, Germany on December 11, 2023 and develop a joint research plan with the Berlin School of Economics and Law https://www.hwr-berlin.de/en / within the framework of the AP19679105 project "Transformation of ESG financial instruments in the context of the development of the "green" economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan" within the framework of grant financing of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2023-2025).
According to the plan, for the purpose of collaboration, project members visited the Berlin School of Economics and Law (Germany), where topics related to the progress of research and issues of climate finance, ESG financial instruments with PhD, Professor Solveig Reiβig-Thust, necessary for sustainable development goals were discussed Kazakhstan and the prospects for the development of a green economy. A joint plan was developed with this school on cooperation issues, in addition, project members studied in detail the process of training master's students in climate finance, which examines tools and financing mechanisms for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) SDG 4, SDG 13.
Within the framework of this collaboration and on the topic under study, the first results of the study at the Berlin School of Economics and Law were discussed.
