The grand opening of the 90th anniversary of KazNU took place in the «Al-Farabi» library. The event was attended by famous people of our country, teachers and professors.
The event opened with a welcoming speech from the Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU Tuimebaev Zhanseit Kanseitovich. A documentary film telling the history of the university was shown. Akim of the city of Almaty Dosayev Erbolat Askerbekovich, Vice-Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akhmed-Zaki Darkhan Zhumakanovich congratulated everyone present on the anniversary.
A number of scientist-teachers received badges “For services to the development of science”, badges “For contribution to the development of the native language”, “Honorary graduate of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic Kazakhstan”, the medal “Eren enbegi ushin” of KazNU and other awards.
At the end of the evening, musical performances of the creative youth of the ART center continued.
