UN SDG Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all

On January 31, 2024, the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted an international scientific and practical conference "Problems of economic security and Customs regulation: Search for effective solutions", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
This conference is organized by the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law in the framework of the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals aimed at building a peaceful, open and democratic society in the interests of its sustainable development. The conference was officially opened by the head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Doctor of Law, Professor G. A. Kuanalieva.

Duisenov E.E., Advisor to the Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Law, Professor; Baideldinov D.L., Dean of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Law, Professor; Zhatkanbayeva Aizhan Yerzhanovna, Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan addressed the participants of the international scientific and practical conference with welcoming words, Doctor of Law, Professor.

The plenary session was attended by domestic and foreign experts: Ibraeva A.S., Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; Isroilov B.I., Doctor of Economics, Professor of Tashkent State University of Economics (Uzbekistan); Akhmad Affandi Mahfudz, Professor at the University of Darussalam Gontor, PhD (Indonesia); Mukhamedyar A.U., Chief Specialist of the Collection Department of the State Revenue Department for the Bostandyk district of Almaty; Merkibaev Zh.E., Chief Specialist of the Department for Work with Taxpayers of the UGD in the Enbekshikazakh district; Kusmanov R.R., Deputy Director of Otbasy Bank JSC in Almaty; Juchnevicius Edvardas, Professor at the State University of Gdansk (Gdansk, Poland).
The conference was actively attended by faculty members of the department and faculties, students and undergraduates.
