International scientific and methodological seminar on "Cooperation in the field of education and science between Kazakhstan and Turkey"

On February 14, 2024,  Faculty of International Relations, Department of Diplomatic Translation organized an international scientific and methodological seminar on "Cooperation in the field of education and science between Kazakhstan and Turkey".

During the scientific and methodological seminar were considered following topics: "Progress in the implementation of joint projects between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Turkish universities", "Topical issues of translation studies", "Features of the art  translation from Kazakh into Turkish", "Features of the translation of a two-volume book from French into Kazakh language: J. Deleuze "Cinema. Movement-video" and " Cinema. Time is video"".

The guests of the event were the head of the Fund for the Culture of the Turkic Peoples, Professor Ahmet Dagduran; Executive director of the newspaper "Turik Alemi" and the Fund for the Culture of the Turkic Peoples Dariga Junus; Turkish writer, translator, PhD Ashur Ozdemir.
