Scientist who has published 83 articles in the National Encyclopedia of Science

There are many scientists-teachers whose name is known to the country, who make a significant contribution to the development of national science. Today our hero is one of the founders of the scientific school of colloid chemists in our country, candidate of chemical sciences, professor, academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan Azimbek Kokanbaevich, a hard-working scientist, about whom we talked above.

Scientist-pedagogue Azimbek Kokanbaev was born in 1948 in Bostandyk village of Talas district of Zhambyl region. In 1954 crossed the threshold of the school of Bostandyk village, in 1965 graduated from high school "Algabas" with a gold medal. In 1965 entered the chemical faculty of the Kazakh State University named after S. Kirov as a student. In 1970 he graduated from chemistry.

According to the then traditions of the Faculty of Chemistry of KazGU the advanced graduate, who was waiting for the future of the faculty, by the decision of the Academic Council was usually offered to graduate school. It can be noted with pride that A. Kokanbaev was one of the graduates recommended to graduate school by the Chairman of the Academic Council, Dean of the Faculty, Professor B. Birimzhanov.

Azimbek Kokanbaevich is a member of the team of authors of the "state obligatory standard of education of RK" (2004, 2006), written specifically for students of bachelor's degree in specialty "Chemistry". By decision of the Academic Council of the Kazakh National University from June 24, 2003 Associate Professor A. Kokanbaev awarded the title of "Professor of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi" for many years of work in the education of young people.

"During the years of the country's sovereignty, the Kazakh department of higher education institutions increased, Kazakh study guides became very tough and scarce, Professor A. Kokanbaev issued about twenty study guides for students of Kazakh departments of higher education institutions. It should be especially noted that Professor A. Kokanbaevich in 1998-2007 published 83 articles in 10 volumes of the recently published "National Encyclopedia of Kazakhstan", - says Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Associate Professor Lyayla Kadyrgizovna.

These textbooks were created for the benefit of students from all over the country, studying in the Kazakh language.

Thanks to energetic efforts, tireless labor, qualified teacher received dozens of awards for his great contribution to the development of higher education. Thus, as the winner of the competition in 2008, Prof. A. Kokanbaev was awarded the title of "Best Teacher of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University" and "Best Teacher of Higher Education" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. And in 2012 he was awarded the gold medal named after A. Baitursynov for many years of fruitful work on writing textbooks for universities.

Kazakhstan Academy of Pedagogical Sciences in 2012 accepted Prof. A. Kokanbayev as a corresponding member, and in 2014 became a full member (academician) of this academy. In 2014, in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Kazakh National University, Professor A. Kokanbaev was awarded the badge of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Honorary Worker of Education".
