Stages and forms of regionalism

On February 19, in honor of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of al-Farabi KazNU and the realization of SDG 17 - “Strengthening the means of implementation and intensifying the work within the framework of the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development”, Department of Economics held a guest lecture on the topic “Stages and forms of regionalism” by PhD Katarzyna Czerewacz-Filipowicz, professor of the Bialystok University of Technology, in an online format. During the lecture, listeners deepened their understanding of the concept of regionalism. The professor explained in detail various aspects of regionalism, including its history, essence, forms and stages of development. The lecturer presented an analysis of the various stages of the development of regionalism: historical examples and modern cases of regional movements and associations and what factors influenced its evolution.
