On February 19, 2024, the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law and the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics organized an event on the topic "Do you know your rights?" The event was attended by the head of the department G.A. Kuanalieva, teachers of the department E.Sh. Rakhmetov, K.Zh. Kuandykov, S.M. Zhapakov, A.A. Yesekeyeva, as well as teachers and students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. Issues of justice, human rights, freedoms and individual rights were raised, and many issues were discussed in accordance with the 16 Goals. The duty of the State is to preserve, protect and recognize human rights. Answers were given to questions about the obligation of the state to provide its citizens with rights and freedoms that meet the needs of the individual (safety of life, freedom and conscience of a person, preservation and development of individuality). The issue under discussion is very relevant and important.
