Qualified specialist - the future of the country

On the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs.4): within the framework of quality education, 1st year students in the specialties "6B03204-Archival science, documentation and documentation support" and "6B03208-Digital Archival Science and Documentation" took part in the open day of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the theme "Qualified specialist - the future of the country".

During the event, a tour of the departments of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was conducted and the digitization and restoration of documents in special technologies were carried out. Senior expert of the Service for the Storage, Accounting and Digitization of Archival Funds M. D. Duisenbai told the students about the main processes of archival work: ensuring the safety of documents and their transfer to digital format, digitization of audio documents, the use of digital documents, etc.

The event was attended by the faculty and students of the department World History, Historiography and Source Studies of the Faculty of History.
