International Turkology

On October 17-20, 2023, the Xth Congress "International Turkology" was held in Turkestan, organized by Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish university  and the Research Institute of Turkology (Republic of Kazakhstan).

The participants of"Lexicographic System of Phraseology Common to Turkic Languages" project AR19675130 in the direction of basic research in the field of social sciences, humanities and art for 2023-2025 took part in  the Congress. One of the project team members,  Sh. T. Kudyarova made a presentation on the topic" Lexicographic System: Common Phraseology of Turkic Languages", analyzing the materials of phraseology " bas katyry, bast katy" in the Turkic languages of Kazakh, Nogai, Karakalpak, Uzbek, Uyghur, etc.
