The role of women in modern society

On February 26, 2024, within the framework of  "Gender Equality" SDG 5, the senior lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Literature and  Theory of Literature of the Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU,  B. Bayazitov held a the round table discussion  on the topic "The role of women in modern society". Bakytkozha Baigozhaevich discussed the  issues of gender equality with  the 3rd year students of  "Kazakh Language and Literature" major. B. Bayazitov paid a  great attention to the education of girls and women, the possibilities of their creative and professional realization in the modern world. During the round table discussion,  the students discussed such concepts as "gender steoreotypes", "gender law", and "gender consciousness". A comparative analysis of the role and  the place of women in Kazakhstan and abroad was carried out.
