Leadership lecture by the lawyer of the Almaty City Bar Association, Candidate of Law D.A. Ibraimov

On February 29, 2024, the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics of the Faculty of Law of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, in pursuance of the UN Sustainable Development Goals “Quality Education for All”, “Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions”, held a leadership lecture by the lawyer of the Almaty City Bar Association , Cand.Jur. D.A. Ibraimov on the topic: “Problems of the defense at the stages of consideration of a criminal case in the court of first instance.”

At the lecture, students, showing professional interest and activity, discussed with the speaker in a question-and-answer format the current issues of the legal status of a lawyer, the provision of qualified legal assistance from a defense lawyer in criminal cases, the implementation of the principle of adversarialism and equality of parties in court.
