Introduction to Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in archeology

March 12-14, 2024 in Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the Central Asian archaeological landscape (CAAL) project led by the University of London, the UNESCO International Center for the study of Central Asia (ICCAS) is holding a scientific seminar for young scientists on the topic "introduction to Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in archeology".

The scientific seminar was attended by the teacher of the Department of archeology, Ethnology and museology of our faculty Rysbek Bakkeldi and the 1st year doctoral student of the specialty archeology Ergabylov Akbar.
