I. Kairzhanova. In honor of Kairzhanov's memory, an international scientific and practical conference "Criminal threats of modernity and strategies for the security of the individual, society, and the state against crime" was held (14 annual Kairzhanov readings).

     The conference was attended by legal scholars and scientific schools of foreign countries and universities of the country. Sergevnin V. A.-Professor at the School of Law and Order and Justice at Western Illinois University (USA), Abdukhamitov V.- Professor at the Department of Criminal Law of the Russian-Tajik Slavic University (Tajik Republic) "Countering extremism in Tajikistan: problems of theory and legislation"; Moiseeva I. A. is an associate professor of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics at Grodno State University.Yanka Kupala (Republic of Belarus), PhD in Law, made a presentation on the topic: "The protection order and its role in the victimological safety of victims of domestic violence", and also shared the views of legal scholars of Kazakhstan from different parts of Kazakhstan.

 Scientists of Kazakhstan: Doctor of Law, professors: Alaukhanov E. O., Bakishev K. A., Rustemova G. R., Toleubekova B. H., Mazov E. A., took part and shared their opinions. In addition, a personal scholarship was offered to students who actively participated in public events organized by the university. 

The purpose of the conference is to discuss the phenomenon of "security against crime", develop scientifically based approaches and identify prospects for the implementation of scientific provisions on the security of the individual, society, and the state against crime in modern conditions
