On March 11, 2024, a lecturer at the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Zh.M. Amanzholov held a webinar with 1st year students of the Higher School of Economics and Business of KazNU on the topic "Digitalization as a factor in sustainable development." This webinar was organized within the framework of 9 SDGs "Creating a solid infrastructure, promoting industrialization and innovation."

Digitalization is an integral factor in sustainable development in the country. A number of companies, organizations and government agencies seek to optimize their work and introduce digital technologies into activities. This will improve the efficiency of work, improve the quality of the services provided and reduce costs. One of the main goals of digitalization is to increase the availability of public services for citizens and businesses. Thanks to the introduction of digital technologies, citizens will be able to receive the necessary information, get rid of unnecessary queues and paperwork, and draw up documents online. This, in turn, helps save time. In addition, students analyzed the importance of digitalization for the country, analyzed the work of the Keremet student service center, which provides more than 500 socially significant services on the basis of "one window" at our university, and noted the presence of favorable conditions for students and teachers.
