At sports competitions, organized on the eve of Nauryz holiday, young athletes of KazNU show high results.
Baizak Meirambek, a 4th year student of the Physics and Engineering Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, won a bronze medal at the Kazakhstan Youth Armwrestling Championship in Taraz.

Akezhan Aitbekov, a 3rd year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, took the 1st place at the Kazakhstan Championship in freestyle wrestling. He defeated his rivals in the weight of 96 kg and became the winner among athletes under 23 years old.

Madina Zheniskyzy, a 3rd year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" of Al-Farabi KazNU, won the competition in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the international tournament in memory of the veteran of labor and sports Korchubek Izabekov, wrestling among girls, Madina Jeniskyzy took 1st place in the weight category up to 55 kg.
Also, Madina Jeniskyzy took 2nd place at the championship of Kazakhstan in wrestling among girls, which was held from March 16 to 18 in Almaty.
