Formative of Psychological Science terms

Within the framework of the 90th anniversary of the university Al-Farabi hosted an international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the study of the scientific heritage of a state and public figure, diplomat, academician Tolegen Tazhibayev.

Within the framework of the conference "Science and education system of Kazakhstan: ways and prospects of development", an exhibition of scientific works of T. Tazhibayev was organized and a film about the life and work of the scientist was shown.

"From 1947 to 1953, Tolegen Tazhibayev served as rector of S. Kirov Kazakh State University (now Kaznu). He made a great contribution to the development of the country, combining scientific work and public service. He conducted fundamental research in the field of pedagogy, psychology, and educated follower students. He made a significant contribution to the formation of Psychological Science terms in the Kazakh language and created his own scientific School," said Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Chairman of the board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan Swapnil Sharad Kothavade, director of the Academy of Public Administration under the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zulfukhar Gaipov and others spoke at the scientific meeting.

During the conference, the outstanding scientist, veteran of Kaznu Zholmukhan Turkpenovich and professor of Kaznu Almasbek Maulenov presented a book about academician Tolegen Tazhibayev "Zangar tulpa".
