January 15 is the official date of establishment of Al-Farabi KazNU.
In honor of the 90th anniversary of the staff of the KazNU from all sides received letters of wishes and wishes from the rector of the university Zhanseit Tuimebaev. We thank everyone who shared the joy of our fundamental educational institution.

The educational institution, which has become a sacred shanyrak for all of us, is a leading educational institution, making a significant contribution to science, social and political life and economy of Kazakhstan. For its history the university has trained thousands of highly qualified specialists. A number of them are outstanding scientists, honorary figures of the country, heads of large organizations of production and education system, worthily work on the way of strengthening the state pedestal of the republic.
Kazakh National University named after. Al-Farabi is the black Shanyrak of the national system of higher education. Famous national figures - Mukhtar Auezov, Bekakhan Bekmakhanov, Tolegen Tazhibaev, Omirbek Zholdasbekov, Sal Zimanov, Sultan Sartaev and many others made a great contribution to the formation of the university. We are also proud of our alumni, among whom are many ministers, chairman of the Supreme Court, prosecutor general, chairman of the Central Election Commission, chairman and deputies of the parliament.
Academicians, professors, candidates of sciences and doctors of philosophy, honored figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureates of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as scholarship holders of the state scientific scholarship teach at the university, preparing specialists necessary for the dynamic development of Kazakhstan.
Today Farabi university has taken a worthy place in the international space of science and education and has become one of the leading universities in the field of higher education.
