"Silver University" - General Activities and Sports Club!
The Institute for Advanced Studies and Continuing Education continues its engaging sessions on health care and physical activity for those over 50. Recently, another session was held dedicated to physical activity for people over 50.
Theme of the first session: "Age-specific features of the body and individual approach to physical activity." Participants studied the method of self-control, including monitoring of pulse, respiratory rate, and blood pressure, and were made aware of possible contraindications and the need for consultation with a doctor before starting exercises.
Safety first: Participants also familiarized themselves with the basic safety rules during physical culture classes both indoors and outdoors.
Morning exercises for vitality: The importance of morning exercises and their role in awakening the body was emphasized during the session. Attendees not only learned about the principles of composing a complex of morning hygienic gymnastics but also created their own complexes and practiced them in groups.
Active learning and interaction: The session was held at a high organizational level, with active participation from all attendees. Presentations and discussions facilitated deep understanding of the material.
