In KazNU discussed problematic issues in the sphere of international relations

The Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi hosted an international scientific-practical conference "Problematic issues of development of international relations, international law and world economy at the present stage: search for possible solutions".

The event, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Professor, scientist, Doctor of Law Karimzhan Shakirov, was attended by Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Operations Yerkin Duisenov, Representative of the UN Department of Global Communications Vlastimil Samek, scientists from Germany, France, Uzbekistan, Russia, diplomats, faculty and youth of the university.

The purpose of the event is to discuss modern problems of international relations, regional studies and world economy; interaction of international and national law of Kazakhstan; the role of foreign languages and diplomatic translation in the field of international relations.

The work of the conference was opened by Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Operations of KazNU Erkin Duisenov, noting the significant contribution of Professor Karimzhan Nurymovich in the development of criminal procedure and forensics.

"The merit of Karimzhan Shakirov was highly appreciated by the state and our university. He worked hard for the benefit of the development of the country, all his conscious life devoted to science. Many students were brought up under the guidance of the professor. Karimzhan Shakirov achieved great heights, significant results in the theory and practice of criminal law, criminalistics and forensic examination", - said the Vice-Rector.

Professor Karimzhan Nurimovich Shakirov is a well-known scientist, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honorary Academician of the Academy of Legal Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the European Academy of Law (Budapest), a specialist in the field of criminal procedure, forensics and forensic examination, has numerous publications on the problems of law, international relations and educational activities.

During the conference the representative of the UN Department of Global Communications Vlastimil Samek, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Kanseit Abdezovich, Vice-Rector of the Kazakh National Medical University named after J. Asfendiyarov Zhanna Kalmataeva and others made speeches.

The participants also discussed problematic issues in the sphere of international relations and topical problems of the world economy.

          Then the plenary session continued in sections.
