Data on the XVI International scientific conference of students and young scientists "Farabi Alemi"

On April 5, 2024, the XVI International scientific conference of students and young scientists "Farabi Alemi" was held at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of our university.

The conference was held in 5 sections:

Section 1. Current problems of biology and biodiversity conservation.

Section 2. Modern problems of biophysics, physiology, biological education, biomedicine and neuroscience.

Section 3. Current problems of genetics, molecular biology and ecology.

Section 4. Modern problems of biotechnology.

Section 5. Start in science (for schoolchildren).

The total number of abstracts is 241, of which 41 bachelors, 130 undergraduates, 48 doctoral students. In the section “Start into science” (for schoolchildren), 20 abstracts were received.

8 abstracts from foreign universities were accepted (2 abstracts from CIS countries).

They are:

Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea,

University of Lorraine, France,

Polessky State University, Belarus,

Tashkent State Technical University named after I. Karimov, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

13 abstracts were accepted from other universities and institutes in Kazakhstan. They are:

Narkhoz University,

Kazakh National Research Technical University – Satbayev University,

Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University,

Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University,

Astana Medical University,

Institute of Genetics and Physiology,

Scientific and Production Center of Microbiology and Virology.

In total, 64 reports were heard in 5 sections, the winners of which were awarded with relevant diplomas and certificates.
