Workshop on Sustainable Development Goals

 The senior lecturer of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, PhD Alibekova K.E. organized a seminar on Sustainable Development Goals for the  3rd year students of the Faculty of Philology, as well as for the  1st year students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology. During the seminar, the teacher touched upon the main aspects and principles of the SDGs, explained their importance in human life, their impact on society and the environment.

 The students actively participated in the discussion of the presented information, asked questions, shared their thoughts and impressions of the presentation. The workshop offered practical tasks aimed at understanding the goals of sustainable development and applying the knowledge gained in practice. The variety of examples and illustrations in the presentation allowed students to better assimilate the material and see its applicability in real life.

The students showed great interest in the topic of Sustainable Development Goals. They enthusiastically listened to the teacher, asked questions and demonstrated their ideas for solving environmental problems at the university level. When completing practical tasks, the seminar participants demonstrated their skills in using IT technology and critical thinking skills. They expressed their opinion that environmental education should be introduced from the first grade of schools.

In conclusion, one can say  that the seminar on Sustainable Development Goals turned out to be informative, interesting and informative for students.  It  contributed to the expansion of the students’  knowledge in the field of sustainable development and inspired them to actively implement the principles of sustainability in their daily lives and future professional activities.
