III International Farabi Forum ended in KazNU

The III International Farabi Forum ended at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The event was attended by Bakytzhan Zhumagulov, President of the National Academy of Engineering, Galymzhan Zhankuatov, Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhanseit Tuimebaev, Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU, Kaisar Sarybaev, Head of the Creative Industry Department of Almaty, domestic and foreign scientists, faculty and young students.

"This year 4 international scientific-practical conferences, 2 round tables, international scientific conference of students and young scientists "Farabiәlemi" and traditional competition "The best young scientist of Al-Farabi KazNU", competition of innovative projects and student business incubators were held within the framework of the forum. The forum was attended by expert scientists from near and far abroad: Indonesia, Korea, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and others. Let me express my sincere gratitude to all participants for their active participation in the work of the forum and support in its organization", - concluded the rector.

On the eve of the Day of workers of science of Kazakhstan scientists were honored with badges and awarded with letters of thanks. The merit badge "For merits in the development of science" of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan were awarded to the Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management Aliya Aktymbayeva and Associate Professor of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Altynshash Kurmanali Chakirolu.

Honorary Diplomas of the MNVO were awarded to Abdurakhman Aldiyarov, Acting Professor of the Department of Thermal Physics and Technical Physics, Baltabek Kangozhin, Professor of the Department of Mathematics, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Gani Omarov, Director of the Research Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology, Aliya Ospanova, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry, and Anara Daniyarova, Director of the Higher School of Public Health.

At the award ceremony the authors of the best student innovation projects, as well as the winners of the international scientific conference "Farabi әlemi" were also recognized. The winners were awarded diplomas and cash prizes.
