Rector of KazNU meets with foreign experts

Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with foreign guests from Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, who arrived at the institution of higher education with a working visit.

In particular, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Head of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of Yerevan State University Jacques Manukyan, Associate Professor of the American University in Central Asia Jyldyz Nisharapova, Director of Peace Nexus and Regional Manager for Central Asia Chinara Esengul discussed a number of issues of academic and scientific cooperation.

Rector noted the need to expand partnership with the branch of KazNU in Bishkek with foreign universities, the need to strengthen scientific cooperation between scientists of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and the study of common regional problems.

During the meeting a memorandum of cooperation between Al-Farabi KazNU and Yerevan State University was signed.

In conclusion, Zhanseit Tuimebaev emphasized the possibilities of academic mobility of the two universities, the need to implement joint scientific projects on the development of integration within the EAEU, security issues within the CSTO and others.
