Campaign "give a book from the heart"

February 14 is the International Book Donation Day, it is a holiday for those who love and love to read books. The goal is to enhance the power of the book and instill a love of reading.

In honor of this holiday, within the framework of paragraph 4 of the SDG "Quality Education", on the initiative of the head of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Professor R.E. Dzhansaraeva, the teaching staff of the department together with the university library held an action "Give a book from the bottom of your heart", students were books were handed over. Having initiated the donation of books, she made a "book" gift, and the students and teachers of the university followed her example. During the campaign, its participants shared not only books, but also their interesting stories about their favorite books / authors.

The campaign has achieved its main goal, the library has resumed teaching students, donating books to each other, and helped attract new readers. In her speech, the director of the library noted that to date, the ideological inspirers of the promotion of the book and the holiday have achieved their goals.

By creating a comfortable atmosphere of collaboration, we can find answers to questions that arise when we read about something interesting in books or study something new for ourselves. We need to read more good books without being lazy, making reading a necessary activity for us.
