Today, 12 April, Kazakhstan celebrates Science Workers' Day.

This day is celebrated in Kazakhstan since 2011, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 164 of 20 October 2011. The date of the celebration was not chosen by chance. This day is associated with the birthday of the person who stood at the origins of the organization of scientific activity in Kazakhstan. We are talking about Academician K.I. Satpayev - the founder and the first President of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, who headed it in 1946. 

On this occasion, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan congratulated many scientists who have achieved great success in the field of science in the country on April 12 - Science Workers' Day and awarded them letters of gratitude. Among them, Professor of the Department of Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Bolatkhan Zayadan was awarded a letter of gratitude from the Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek. We congratulate Bolatkhan Kazykhanovich and wish him new victories in the future!
