The competition "In-demand professions of the future" was held at KazNU.
At the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University the 2nd round of the competition of oratorical art on the theme "In-demand professions of the future" was held.
The competition was attended by 2nd and 4th year students of the Chinese Department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and students of N.P. Ogorev Mordovian State Research University (MSU).
The aim of the competition is to improve the skills of public speaking in Chinese as a means of self-realization and social adaptation. As well as the development of intercultural communication among students.
The competition was evaluated by an authoritative jury consisting of: Candidate of Physical Sciences, Associate Professor Fatimabibi Dauletkyzy, Dr. PhD Nurzhan Saparbaeva and a teacher of Mordovian University Zhu Wei Hui.
The deputy dean of the Oriental Department of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Umitay Amirbekova, the deputy dean of the Foreign Languages Department of the Mordovian State Research University, Elena Babenkova, and the head of the Department of English Philology, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Konstantin Svoykin, made greeting speeches.
According to the results of the contest, the prizes were distributed as follows 1st place - Akbota Zhanadil (KazNU) and Veronika Latyshkova (MSU named after N.P. Ogorev), 2nd place - Alua Jebegenkyzy (KazNU) and Victoria Tyugaeva (MSU named after N.P. Ogorev), 3rd place - Nursaya Nurlankyzy (KazNU), Zemfira Salkaeva and Polina Ilkina (MSU named after N.P. Ogorev).
Participation in the international competition allowed students to gain valuable experience, demonstrate their talents and acquire new skills. Such competitions inspire students to new victories, increase their self-confidence. And most importantly, the students were able to communicate with students and teachers from Russia and find new friends.
