The foundations of education are laid from childhood

On April 22, 2024, within the framework of SDG 4 "Quality Education", the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a leadership lecture delivered by the  General Director of M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art,  Doctor of Philological Sciences, Corresponding member of NAS of the  RK,  Matyzhanov Kenzhehan Slyamzhanovich. The topic of the lecture was   "Education from infancy" ("Uyz tarbiye"), devoted to the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The moderator of the lecture was the Candidate of Philological Sciences, senior lecturer of Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature,  Tleubaev Sovetkhan Bayanovich.

During the lecture,  the role of educating children and youth and  the role of generational continuity, national traditions in personality formation were discussed. The speakers were Doctor of Philological Sciences, Full Professor,  Seitzhanov Zufar Nursapovich,  the Head of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature,  Doctor of Philological Sciences, Full Professor,  Temirbolat Alua Berikbaykyzy, who emphasized  the importance of moral values, the role of the family in human development.

The deputy head of the Department for Scientific Innovation and International Relations, PhD, Associate Professor Dautova Gulnaz Rahimovna,  the senior lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature Shortanbai Shokan Amangeldyuly took an active part in organizing the lecture.
