KazNU supported the action "Clean Kazakhstan"

In Al-Farabi KazNUwas held a university subbotnik within the framework of the national environmental campaign "Clean Kazakhstan". 

Students, representatives of teaching staff, employees of all divisions and departments of KazNU named after Al-Farabi took part in the clean-up day.

It should be reminded that the large-scale action was launched after the President of the country Kasym-Jomart Tokayev gave a number of instructions on landscaping, planting greenery and cleaning the territories of settlements. The head of state emphasized the importance of uniting the authorities, entrepreneurs, residents and volunteers in this work.

The action consisting of five stages is organized by thematic areas and distributed by weeks:  "Taza Meken" (April 6-13), "Kieli Meken" (April 14-20), "Zhasyl Aimak" (April 21-27), "Өnegeli Kurpak" (April 28-May 4), "Mouldir Bulak" (May 5-11).

During the cleanup day, the campus territory, premises in academic buildings, dormitories were cleaned, flowers were planted. Representatives of the university staff cleaned the territories adjacent to the tasks and buildings, squares and stadiums of the university.

Also within the framework of the staff cleaned up the office premises, students - in the premises of student houses.
