On April 28, the final games of the basketball tournament among men and women were held in Almaty as part of the sports project “ALMA CUP 2024”.
ALMA CUP is a large-scale sports tournament between universities and colleges, including team games such as mini-football, volleyball, basketball and e-sports. The total prize fund of the tournament is 4,800,000 tenge.
The project is aimed at improving health, promoting a healthy lifestyle, developing corporate culture and patriotic education of the youth of Almaty.
22 teams from 17 educational institutions (16 men, 6 women) took part in the basketball tournament.
As a result of the game, the winners were:

1st place – IITU
2nd place – KazAST
III place – KazNU
* In the women's basketball team:
1st place – KazNU
2nd place – KazAST
III place – ZhenPU
