Meeting with the Deputy Dean of Istanbul University

6.12.2023. Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Theology of Istanbul University Doç.Dr. Ms. Sultan Şimsek, Associate Professor of this Faculty (Faculty of Theology, Department Of Hadith), Islamic Studies (Islamic Law), Assoc. Prof. Mustafa had a meeting with Mr. Selil Altuntas. The projects "philosophy of language and the language of philosophy in the teachings of Abu Nasr al-Farabi" and "a good man in the legacy of Al-Farabi and Turkic scientists: a comparative discourse" were presented, scientific research was presented at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, data on the areas of the Department of Religious Studies, Islamic Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, as well as general projects were presented, areas of cooperation were proposed. The Faculty of Theology of Istanbul University is the first theological faculty founded in Turkey. The faculty is focused on the training of professionally qualified theologians. The roots of the faculty go back to the Seljuk madrasah system. The curricula of Fatiha Madrasah, Sulaymaniyah Madrasah and Darufunun-i Osmani Madrasah go back to the achievements of scientists who were students and teachers at these institutions.

Detailed and comprehensive data on the faculty's programs, their features, and programs for foreigners were obtained, and suggestions were made about opportunities to become a research base for undergraduates and doctoral students. Being in the center "Farabi Avrasya Çalışmaları Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi" ("Center for Applied and Research Works on Eurasian Studies of Farabi") At Istanbul University, the head of the Center, Prof.Dr., met with Mr. Abdullah KIZILCHIK.

Research was also conducted in the books Süleymaniye Yazma Eser Kütüphanesi, Rami Kütüphanesi, within the framework of the project "philosophy of language and the language of philosophy in the teachings of Abu Nasr al-Farabi", the biliographic materials necessary for the information project were obtained.
